In this guide
- The Open Tracked pixel captures leads and orders on your site and creates contacts and deals in the CRM.
- Deals move through pipeline stages. Stage changes can be sent to Meta and Google Ads as offline conversions.
- If you use another CRM, connect it with webhooks to your tagging server.
Tracking tells you what visitors do. A CRM tells you what happened next. Open Tracked puts both in one account, so the identifiers captured at the form are still there when a deal is won. This page explains how the pieces fit, and what to do if you already have another CRM. The details of the interface may change, and the Open Tracked documentation is the reference. See offline conversions, lead acquisition and CRM data to Meta with webhooks.
How the flow works
A visitor submits a form or places an order
The Open Tracked pixel on your site captures it, with the click IDs and the source.
A contact and a deal are created
Leads and orders are matched to contacts and de-duplicated, and a deal is opened in the right pipeline.
The deal moves through stages
Manually or through workflows.
Stage changes become conversions
Qualified, won and other stages can be sent back to Meta and Google Ads as offline conversions.
Reports tie it together
Spend, revenue, ROAS and profit by channel and creative sit next to the pipeline.
Check your tracking in one pass
This is an example. Run the check on your own site to see where yours stands.
Pipelines and fields
- Default pipelines for leads, e-commerce orders and subscriptions.
- Custom fields for extra data you want on contacts and deals.
- Workflows to automate steps when a deal changes.
Why identifiers matter
Offline conversions only match if the click IDs and customer data captured at the form are still attached to the deal. Because the pixel and the CRM are the same product, the link is built in, which removes the most common failure of separate tools. Open Tracked's Click ID Restorer and Cookie Keeper (every plan) keep click IDs and cookies available until the form is sent.
3 things to remember
Scroll and the points stack up.
The Open Tracked pixel captures leads and orders on your site and creates contacts and deals in the CRM.

Deals move through pipeline stages. Stage changes can be sent to Meta and Google Ads as offline conversions.

If you use another CRM, connect it with webhooks to your tagging server.

If you already use another CRM
| Situation | Approach |
|---|---|
| You want to keep HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho or ActiveCampaign | Send stage changes by webhook to your tagging server. See HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho and ActiveCampaign |
| You want one account for tracking and a light CRM | Use Open Tracked's pipeline |
| You use both | Capture identifiers in Open Tracked and sync the stages that matter to your main CRM |
Good practice
- Define two to four stages that predict revenue.
- Test with a real form submission end to end.
- Check that stage changes reach Meta and Google Ads in their test tools.
- Record consent with each lead.
Privacy
Customer e-mail is stored hashed in analytics where the system allows it, and you should send personal data to ad platforms only with a lawful basis, usually consent. See GDPR and server-side tracking.
Orders from your store, back to the ad that earned them
Your store sends the order once. Open Tracked passes it on to each ad platform, cleaned and deduplicated.

How do leads get into the CRM?
The Open Tracked pixel captures leads and orders on your site and creates contacts and deals.

No. Once tracking is live, the Open Tracked analytics shows spend, revenue, ROAS and profit, and you can ask Ari, the built-in AI assistant, questions about your own numbers in plain words. Ari's allowance depends on your analytics plan.
Is Open Tracked different from Open Track or Open Space Track?
No. Open Tracked is the official name of our server-side tracking platform, and the website is opentracked.io. Many people search for it as Open Track, OpenTrack or Open Space Track. All of them lead to the same product: server-side Google Tag Manager hosting, first-party analytics and a CRM pipeline.

Fix your tracking at the source
Open Tracked hosts your server-side Tag Manager, keeps first-party cookies alive and shows what each ad is really worth.
