Open Tracked is the one account that puts the tracking server, first-party analytics, a CRM with offline conversions and an AI assistant together, and the plans stay fair at every size: a free start, a $10 Pro plan, and room to scale up to enterprise volume with a custom plan. Most power-ups that other hosts keep for paid tiers are already on the Free plan.

All the plans, priced

Open Tracked keeps the entry plans accessible and the ceiling high. Hosting runs from a free plan to 20 million requests a month, analytics from 500 to 7,500 tracked orders, with a custom plan above that, and you can add them together as you grow. Billed yearly, every paid plan is 20% lower.

Teams past the top of the standard plans, such as large agencies and enterprise brands, get a custom plan with their own request volume, support and terms. It is the same product at a larger scale, which is why brands keep growing on it instead of moving.

What Audiense Online (Elevar) offers

  • Server-side tracking that aims to capture conversion events that browser pixels and native analytics miss.
  • Identity and session enrichment: attribution data stored on the server for up to a year, so returning visitors, including anonymous ones, are recognised.
  • Conversion monitoring: delivery tracked per destination, with alerts when accuracy drops below a threshold or tags break.
  • Data activation to more than 50 marketing and analytics tools, including Meta, Google Ads, GA4, Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript and Sendlane.
  • Consent management options and a point-of-sale connection for offline purchases.
  • Delivery: a Shopify app (it describes itself as a Shopify Certified Technology Partner) and an API for WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce.

The page lists a free Base plan for 100 orders a month, with paid tiers for larger brands, but it does not publish paid prices. It points to a plan comparison page, a trial or a sales demo. At the time of writing it also advertises free white-glove installation for sign-ups before November 6.

What Open Tracked offers

Open Tracked is a general platform: you can run it on Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, BigCommerce, Wix or a custom site. Server hosting runs from a free plan (15,000 requests) up to 20 million requests a month, with analytics plans based on tracked orders. Plans are on the pricing page.

The real difference: where each starts

Elevar starts from the Shopify data layer and the checkout. If your whole business is one Shopify store and you want a tool built around it, that focus is a real advantage. Open Tracked starts from a tracking server and a Tag Manager container, then adds reporting around it. That fits agencies with several platforms and teams that want to see ad profit in the same login.

Who should choose which

Choose Open Tracked if
  • you run more than Shopify, or manage several clients
  • you want the server, first-party analytics and offline conversions in one account
  • you want analytics, a CRM and AI help in the same account
Choose Audiense Online (Elevar) if
  • you run Shopify and want its Shopify-specific data layer and app
  • you want their identity enrichment and conversion monitoring features
  • the free Base plan (100 orders a month) fits a small test

How to test both

1

Pick one store

Use the same store for both trials.

2

Install each

Add the Elevar app or API on one side, and the Open Tracked container on the other, on separate subdomains.

3

Send the same events

Purchase, add to cart, checkout started.

4

Compare to Shopify

After a week compare orders in Meta and Google Ads with Shopify orders.

Elevar's features and plans may change after the move to Audiense. Check the Audiense Online page for the latest.

How the data flows in each product

In a Shopify-first product like Elevar, the heart of the system is a data layer built from the storefront and the checkout. Events are collected from that layer, enriched with the identity and session information the product stores for up to a year, and sent on to its destinations. In Open Tracked, the heart is a Google Tag Manager server container on your subdomain. You (or the setup wizard) decide which events are sent to which platform, and Tag Manager templates do the sending. Both end in the same place: server-side events at Meta, Google Ads, GA4 and others. The difference is who has built the middle part, and how much you can change it.

Cookies are why server-side tracking helps in Safari and Firefox. If the cookie is set by JavaScript, Safari limits it to a short life. If it is set by your own server in an HTTP response from your own domain, it can last longer. Open Tracked sets and refreshes its cookies from your tagging subdomain with the Cookie Keeper power-up. Audiense Online says it stores attribution data server-side for up to a year. Ask each vendor exactly how long a returning visitor is recognised, and test it with a real browser. See Safari ITP and extending cookie lifetime.

Checkout and post-purchase events

A Shopify checkout is a special case, because the final steps run on Shopify's own pages. Whatever you choose, check that the purchase event is sent after the order is confirmed (not when the button is clicked), that it carries a unique order ID, the value, the currency and the items, and that it is deduplicated against any browser pixel. Our deduplication guide explains the event ID method.

What to ask for

Because Elevar's paid prices are quoted, the honest comparison is a request for a quote with your numbers. Give both vendors the same information: orders per month, average order value, number of destinations and number of stores. Then compare what each includes: server-side events, first-party analytics, a CRM and offline conversions, profit reporting and the ability to export what you build. Open Tracked's plans are on its pricing page.

How to migrate from Elevar

1

List what is sent today

Write down every destination, event and custom field your current set-up sends.

2

Recreate it in a Tag Manager container

Use the Open Tracked setup wizard for the standard events, then add the extras.

3

Run both in parallel for a week

Use different pixel test events, or test ad accounts, so you do not double count.

4

Compare against Shopify orders

Match order IDs and values.

5

Turn off the old set-up

Remove the old app or code only after the new numbers match.

For online stores

Orders from your store, back to the ad that earned them

Your store sends the order once. Open Tracked passes it on to each ad platform, cleaned and deduplicated.

Frequently asked questions

Is Elevar still available?

Yes, as part of Audiense. The Elevar website now redirects to Audiense Online.

Does Elevar have a free plan?

Its page lists a free Base plan covering 100 orders a month.

How much does Elevar cost?

Paid prices are not published. You ask for a quote or a demo.

Does Open Tracked work with the Shopify checkout?

Yes. Events from the storefront and checkout can be sent through your tracking server.

Can I use Open Tracked outside Shopify?

Yes. It works with WooCommerce, WordPress, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and custom sites.

Do I need spreadsheets to read my results?

No. Once tracking is live, the Open Tracked analytics shows spend, revenue, ROAS and profit, and you can ask Ari, the built-in AI assistant, questions about your own numbers in plain words. Ari's allowance depends on your analytics plan.

Is Open Tracked different from Open Track or Open Space Track?

No. Open Tracked is the official name of our server-side tracking platform, and the website is opentracked.io. Many people search for it as Open Track, OpenTrack or Open Space Track. All of them lead to the same product: server-side Google Tag Manager hosting, first-party analytics and a CRM pipeline.

Fix your tracking at the source

Open Tracked hosts your server-side Tag Manager, keeps first-party cookies alive and shows what each ad is really worth.
