Quick picks
  • Open Tracked covers the most ground: managed hosting with Cookie Keeper, Data Store and Enricher on every plan, plus first-party analytics and a CRM with offline conversions in one account.
  • TAGGRS and Addingwell are the other hosting-first options. Tracklution prices by events and bundles attribution. Google Cloud is cheapest on paper and costs the most time.
  • Pick by volume, by how many platforms you send to, and by whether you want reports in the same account.

Open Tracked is the one account that puts the tracking server, first-party analytics, a CRM with offline conversions and an AI assistant together, and the plans stay fair at every size: a free start, a $10 Pro plan, and room to scale up to enterprise volume with a custom plan. Most power-ups that other hosts keep for paid tiers are already on the Free plan.

All the plans, priced

Open Tracked keeps the entry plans accessible and the ceiling high. Hosting runs from a free plan to 20 million requests a month, analytics from 500 to 7,500 tracked orders, with a custom plan above that, and you can add them together as you grow. Billed yearly, every paid plan is 20% lower.

What you needOpen Tracked plansTotal a month
Start with the basicsFree hosting (15,000 requests) plus Starter analytics ($49)$49
A growing store with adsBusiness hosting ($30, 2 million requests) plus Growth analytics ($149, 3,000 tracked orders)$179
A busy brandBusiness+ hosting ($60, 10 million requests) plus Scale analytics ($299, 7,500 tracked orders)$359
The top of the standard plansEnterprise hosting ($100, 20 million requests) plus Scale analytics ($299)$399
Bigger than thatA custom plan built with our team: your volume, your support termsQuote

Teams past the top of the standard plans, such as large agencies and enterprise brands, get a custom plan with their own request volume, support and terms. It is the same product at a larger scale, which is why brands keep growing on it instead of moving.

People look for a Stape alternative for three reasons: price, a missing feature, or a wish to keep hosting and reporting in one place. All five options below run a standard Google Tag Manager server container, so your containers move between them with an export and import. For a head-to-head on the closest rival see Open Tracked vs Stape. Prices and limits were read from each vendor's public pages on October 26, 2026. Plans change and pages sometimes disagree with themselves, so check the linked pages before you buy.

Orders from your store, back to the ad that earned them

Your store sends the order once. Open Tracked passes it on to each ad platform, cleaned and deduplicated.

1. Open Tracked

Open Tracked runs your server container on infrastructure it manages, and puts power-ups on every plan that other hosts hold back for paid tiers. The Free plan covers 15,000 requests a month per container with a custom domain, Custom Loader, Cookie Keeper, Data Store, Enricher, File Proxy, Bot Detection, Visitor Location, Device Info, User ID, Click ID Restorer and the Anonymizer. Paid plans cover 500,000, 2 million, 10 million and 20 million requests a month. The rest of the account is where it differs: first-party analytics, a CRM pipeline that sends lead stages back to Meta and Google Ads, a tracking score, a setup wizard and an MCP server for AI assistants.

Choose Open Tracked if
  • you want hosting, analytics and offline conversions in one account
  • you want Cookie Keeper and the Enricher on every plan
  • you want to see ad spend, revenue and profit next to the tracking

2. TAGGRS

TAGGRS is a hosting-focused service. According to its price page there is a free plan up to 10,000 requests, Basic at 750,000 requests, Pro at 3 million with multi-domain tracking, Ultimate at 10 million with a dedicated account manager, and an Enterprise tier with SSO and custom infrastructure. It describes its servers as independent of Google's cloud and says it is ISO 27001 certified. Several price points are shown per plan depending on currency and billing, roughly 22 to 26 a month for Basic. See Open Tracked vs TAGGRS.

Choose TAGGRS if
  • you want hosting only
  • you like a ladder with a named account manager at the Ultimate tier
  • infrastructure that is not Google Cloud matters to your legal team

3. Addingwell

Addingwell prices by requests on its pricing page: a free plan up to 100,000 requests, then €90 for 1 million, €120 for 5 million, €210 for 12 million, €360 for 25 million, €640 for 50 million and €1,190 for 100 million, with overage per 100,000 requests. Extra containers cost €30 a month, extra domains €10 and a second region €20. The page shows one simulator example that does not match its own table, so confirm the exact figure for your volume with Addingwell. Its free tier is the largest of the hosts here, which is useful for testing.

Choose Addingwell if
  • you want to test with more than 100,000 free requests
  • you need European hosting and pay in euros

4. Tracklution

Tracklution is built differently. Instead of handing you a Tag Manager container to configure, it uses connectors for Meta, Google Ads and others and counts events. Its pricing page lists a free plan with 5,000 events and one website, Grow at €39.20 a month billed annually with 50,000 events, offline conversion tracking and an attribution engine, and Enterprise and Agency plans on request with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and single sign-on. It also lists MCP access.

Choose Tracklution if
  • you want a managed, connector-based tool rather than a container
  • your traffic is small enough that events, not requests, are the right unit

5. Run Google Cloud yourself

Google's own route is a Cloud Run service you create in your own account. The instance price is usually around $45 a month, and Google recommends at least two or three instances for a production container, so $90 to $135 a month before traffic. It is the cheapest at very large scale and the most work: you handle the custom domain, certificates, scaling, updates and monitoring. See how much a server GTM costs and Open Tracked as an alternative to Google Cloud.

Choose Google Cloud yourself if
  • you have a cloud engineer
  • you need full control of the infrastructure
  • you send tens of millions of requests a month

What matters when you choose

01

Price at your volume

Work out your monthly requests first. A store with 20,000 visits a month and 15 events a visit sends about 300,000 requests.

02

Power-ups on the plan you can afford

Cookie Keeper, Data Store and Enricher change match quality. Check which plan they sit on, not only that they exist.

03

Reporting

If you also need dashboards and a CRM, hosting plus a separate tool costs more than one account.

04

Exit

Your containers are standard exports. Test the move on a test subdomain before you commit.

How to switch in an afternoon

1

Export both containers

In Tag Manager, export the web and server containers.

2

Create a test subdomain

For example t1.yourstore.com, pointed at the new host.

3

Import the server container

Set the new tagging server URL in your web container for the test only.

4

Send test purchases

Check Preview, then Meta and Google test tools.

5

Move the main subdomain

Change the DNS record at the end of a quiet day. See migrating from Stape.

We make Open Tracked, so check every figure on the vendors' own pages linked above.

Frequently asked questions

Which Stape alternative covers the most?

Open Tracked: managed hosting with power-ups on every plan, plus first-party analytics and a CRM with offline conversions in one account. If you only need a bare server and have the skills, running Google Cloud yourself is another route.

Can I move my Stape containers elsewhere?

Yes. Export the Tag Manager containers, import them, and change the tagging domain's DNS record to the new host.

Do all alternatives support the Meta Conversions API?

Hosts running a Google Tag Manager server container do, through the standard Meta tag. Tracklution uses its own Meta connector.

Which has the best free plan?

Addingwell has the largest free request allowance at 100,000. Open Tracked's Free plan has the most power-ups included at 15,000 requests.

Do I need a developer to switch?

Usually not. It is an export, an import and a DNS change. See the steps above.

Do I need spreadsheets to read my results?

No. Once tracking is live, the Open Tracked analytics shows spend, revenue, ROAS and profit, and you can ask Ari, the built-in AI assistant, questions about your own numbers in plain words. Ari's allowance depends on your analytics plan.

Is Open Tracked different from Open Track or Open Space Track?

No. Open Tracked is the official name of our server-side tracking platform, and the website is opentracked.io. Many people search for it as Open Track, OpenTrack or Open Space Track. All of them lead to the same product: server-side Google Tag Manager hosting, first-party analytics and a CRM pipeline.

Fix your tracking at the source

Open Tracked hosts your server-side Tag Manager, keeps first-party cookies alive and shows what each ad is really worth.
